To buy a property in the current market, renovate it and try and sell it for a profit is high risk. It is unlikely that you will make a profit at the moment. You are going to have to get your timing spot on to come out at the other end with profit in your pocket.
This is in stark contrast to the sisters Katrina and Amie who sold on the night at their reserve after their property was passed in. This tells us that while properties are not attracting the frantic bidding of years past and are subsequently taking a little longer to sell, they are still attracting the right price provided vendors are prepared to bide their time. There are certainly much better streets in Richmond than where those four were located Cameron St. Being across from a car park, it did have that industrial feel.
At the moment with the market we are currently in, properties that are slightly compromised are struggling. Everything usually sells if the price is realistic, like these properties did.
It is just taking longer than we have grown accustomed to. What I am finding in the current market is that well renovated properties will sell. Who buys them? All properties for sale through The Block are put up for public auction - meaning absolutely anyone can bid!
What sold for what, when? Nothing is the same. The contestants in front of the Blocktagon, pre Block transformation. The Block contestants. Posted in The Block. However, he was acutely aware that Amie and Katrina had come out of it harder than most, especially given that they left husbands and young children behind to be on the show. It is understood that is likely to include on-air roles for the sisters, though there is no no official word on that from Nine yet.
But why would we do that? Follow Karl Quinn on Twitter: karlkwin. The Block finally sells out. Please try again later.
