Keep in mind that the storage space under the seats is pretty small, so I wouldn't plan on storing a large carry-on bag there. It's also important to note that the person sitting behind you has access to the area under your seat too so you might want to avoid storing any valuables there.

However, you can bring a reasonably sized suitcase for the cargo area, plus pay extra if you have more than one suitcase. But this means that the back of the bus always fills up quicker than the front. So if you are looking to sit by yourself, the chances are farvbetter in the front of the bus than they are in the back.
